Vonage offers faxing as an add-on service for their business VoIP plans. The cost for the fax service is $14.99 per month, up to $19.48 after taxes and fees. This service converts inbound faxes into emails, and is HIPAA compliant.  HIPAA compliance is important for any company that is responsible for sensitive information, such as health or financial customer data.

The $14.99 per month fee for Vonage’s fax service is not per user but per fax line. This fee allows for the management of inbound faxes via email or the Vonage web portal, making it an additional service on top of the standard VoIP plans.

Nextiva

  • Essentials Plan: Starts at $30.95 per user per month. With annual and volume discounts, this can decrease to $23.95 per user per month. After taxes and fees, up to $40.23 per user per month.
  • Professional Plan: Starts at $35.95 per user per month, reduced to $27.95 with discounts. After taxes and fees, up to $46.74 per user per month.
  • Enterprise Plan: Starts at $45.95 per user per month, reduced to $37.95 with discounts. After taxes and fees, up to $59.74 per month.
  • Core Plan: Starts at $18.95 per user per month.

Nextiva offers a range of features in these plans, but none of them includes business faxing or business texting. They do offer conference calling, voicemail to email, auto attendants, and so on.  Most VoIP companies, including NoContractVoIP, offer those things, because they’re easy to make a large VoIP system perform for little extra work.  Business texting and business faxing from Nextiva is only available at higher tiers, which obviously add more money the more users you have.

Zoom

  • Pro Plan: $14.99 per user per month, including meetings with up to 100 participants, unlimited group meetings for up to 30 hours, and social media streaming. After taxes and fees, up to $19.49 per user per month.
  • Business Plan: $19.99 per user per month, designed for small and medium businesses, including single sign-on, recording transcripts, and managed domains. After taxes and fees, up to  $25.98 per user per month.
  • Enterprise Plan: $19.99 per user per month, aimed at large enterprises with features like unlimited cloud storage, discounts on webinars and Zoom Rooms. After taxes and fees, up to $25.98 per user per month.

Zoom does not offer fax at all, and charges extra add on per user charges for certain features that both NCV and other companies include complimentary.

Ooma

  • Ooma Office Plan: $19.95 per user per month, including virtual receptionist, mobile app, and unlimited calling in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. After taxes and fees, up to $25.94 per user per month.
  • Ooma Office Pro Plan: $24.95 per user per month, offering all Office features plus video conferencing, call recording, enhanced call blocking, and voicemail transcription. After taxes and fees, up to $32.44 per user per month.

Ooma is working in a very basic niche for small to medium business, so they don’t tend to offer the kinds of faxing, texting, and CRM integrations that other companies like NoContractVoIP do.

RingCentral

  • Essentials Plan: $19.99 per user per month, including messaging, phone calls, and basic integrations. After taxes and fees, up to $25.98 per user per month.
  • Standard Plan: $27.99 per user per month, with additional features like video meetings for up to 100 participants and integrations with Office 365, Google Workspace, and Slack. After taxes and fees, up to $36.38 per user per month.
  • Premium Plan: $34.99 per user per month, offering advanced call handling, video meetings for up to 200 participants, and CRM integrations. After taxes and fees, up to $45.48 per user per month.
  • Ultimate Plan: $49.99 per user per month, providing everything in Premium plus device status reports and alerts, and unlimited storage. After taxes and fees, up to $64.99 per user per month.

NoContractVoIP

Our pricing structure is profoundly different from the per user charges that other companies charge.  Because we price per system, not per user, it can be difficult to do a head to head comparison.  That being said, for a system for ten people, after taxes and fees we range between $20 per user per month for a basic system up to $30 per user per month for all the bells and whistles, including HIPAA compliant fax and CRM integration and the use of desktop and mobile apps.

That upper end estimate nearly everything in RingCentral’s Ultimate Plan. We offer video calls through integrations with other programs, like Microsoft Teams, instead of having our own video calling app.  Other than that, though, we’re charging $30 per user per month what they’re charging $50 per user per month for.

The higher the number of users, the lower the per user cost gets of course.

In addition, we are a small business.  We are dedicated to offering small business levels of quality and care.  Our clients are our lifeline, and we know it.  So, to get access to our 24/7/365 United States based tech support and say good bye to being stuck on hold, call us at 866-550-0005 or contact us here.
